Cars -- You can rent a car from San Jose, the Liberia
airport, or after you arrive
at our hotel. Most major San Jose rental car agencies are
located in Liberia and will deliver your car to you when
you arrive in Liberia or at Hotel El Velero. Some
larger agencies located near Liberia are Thrifty,
Economy, Budget, Poas, Toyota, Alamo and many others.
For your convenience, we are happy to arrange your
rental car once you arrive at Hotel El Velero and
your car and paperwork will be delivered to the hotel.

San Jose to our hotel. Convenient pickup and
delivery to Hotel El Velero in Playa Hermosa is
available. Gray Line also offers Multi-day
packages, one day trips, nature packages, ground
transfers all at very reasonable prices.

Prices vary (approx. $30).

Taxi
-- From San Jose airport to the hotel (driving time: 4 hrs.)
is approximately $200. Taxis from Liberia airport to
the hotel is approximately $45. These prices may be increased
according to the price of gasoline. Airport Taxis are
orange with a yellow triangle on the door. We
highly recommend you choose Airport Taxis.
